1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 egg
1 c. persimmon pulp
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven 400 degrees.
Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well.
Add persimmons and beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add to batter and mix well.
Stir in raisins and chopped nuts.
