Ribs And Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. navy beans
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 lb. beef short ribs
    1 onion, sliced
Preparation
    Soak beans in water overnight.
    Drain.
    Place in boiler.
    Add sugar, salt, pepper and onion.
    Brown short ribs.
    Place in baking dish (the beans).
    Put short ribs on top.
    Bake until meat is tender and beans are done.
    Add water, if necessary.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
