Cheese With Port - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese
    4 Tbsp. butter, softened
    minced parsley (optional)
    1/2 c. ruby Port
    paprika
    minced nuts
Preparation
    Grate cheese very fine, then warm to room temperature.
    Beat together with soft butter until fluffy.
    Stir in Port gently so as to leave streaks of color.
    Press into a ball and roll in nuts, paprika or parsley or pack in serving crock.
    Refrigerate a few days before using.
    Serve at room temperature.
    Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
