Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. pecan halves
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In 2-quart saucepan over low heat, heat butter until melted; remove saucepan from heat.
    With wire whisk, beat in corn syrup, sugar, eggs and vanilla until blended. Arrange pecans in bottom of pie crust.
    Carefully pour egg mixture over them.
    Bake for 1 hour, or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
    Cool pie on wire rack.
