Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. cucumbers, sliced
    1 c. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 gal. water
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. dill seed or fresh dill
Preparation
    Take cucumbers, salt, vinegar and water.
    Pack cucumbers in jars.
    Add garlic.
    Bring water and salt to boiling point.
    Add vinegar and let boil.
    Pour over cucumbers.
    Add dill to top of jars and seal.
