Christmas Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
3 sq. baking chocolate
3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter
chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Boil sugar, milk, chocolate, syrup and salt in covered pan on low heat until soft ball stage (cook slowly).
Cool until lukewarm, covered and without stirring.
Add butter and vanilla. Beat with electric beater at high speed until thick.
Add nuts. Pour into buttered 8 x 8-inch or bread pan.
Cool and cut.
