Sour Cream Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Beat eggs and blend eggs and vanilla with butter mixture.
    Add flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg alternately with sour cream to the butter and egg mixture.
    Mix well after each addition.
    Chill 2 hours or overnight.
    Roll out on lightly floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut with 3-inch round cookie cutter.
    Place on well-greased cookie sheet.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
