Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 head cauliflower
    1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and broken in small pieces
    1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
Preparation
    In large bowl, layer in order of ingredients, noting to spread mayonnaise as frosting a cake.
    This seals the salad.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Mix well 10 minutes before serving.
