Miss Daisy'S Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. celery, diced
    1/4 c. green pepper, diced
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1 c. American cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. green olives, chopped
    1/2 c. ripe black olives, sliced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. egg noodles (uncooked)
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Brown ground beef; drain. Put beef in a large pot. Add all remaining ingredients, EXCEPT sharp cheese. Simmer 20 minutes. Pour into a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Sprinkle sharp cheese on top. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
