Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 3/4 c. milk
    2 eggs, separated
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 baked pie shell
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar, salt and cornstarch.
    Add milk and egg yolks.
    Cook until thickened.
    Cool slightly.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Beat in granulated sugar. Put on top of pie and brown.
