Pearadise Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8.5 oz.) can pear slices, drained
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
Preparation
    Drain pear slices, reserving 1/2 cup syrup.
    Chop pears.
    In a bowl, combine pears and reserved syrup with egg and oil.
    In large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in cheese and walnuts.
    Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the egg mixture all at once.
    Stir until the mixture is just moistened.
    (Batter will be lumpy.)
