Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 green pepper, finely chopped
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans
Preparation
    Preheat family skillet or 3-quart saucepan over medium heat for 3 minutes.
    Brown ground beef, about 5 minutes.
    Add onion, green pepper and celery; saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Add salt, paprika, chili powder and tomatoes; stir to combine.
    Cover.
    When steam escapes from cover, reduce heat to low.
    Simmer for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
    Add kidney beans; heat until hot, about 4 minutes. Serve with crackers.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
