Ingredients

1 c. oleo
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. candied cherries, halved or chopped
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream together margarine, sugar and egg; add flour and cream of tartar.
Add cherries and pecans.
Drop by the teaspoonful or roll and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
