Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. frozen cut broccoli
2 c. frozen small whole onions
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. shredded American cheese
1 c. soft bread crumbs
Preparation

Cook fresh or frozen broccoli.
Cook onions until tender.
In saucepan, melt half of butter.
Blend flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk.
Cook, stirring constantly until bubbling.
Decrease heat. Blend in cream cheese until smooth.
Place vegetables in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Pour sauce mixture over; mix lightly. Top with American cheese.
Melt remaining butter and toss with bread crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
