Sweet Potato Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. hot cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 unbaked 10-inch pastry shell
Preparation

Beat yolks until thick.
Gradually add sugar and mix well.
Add next 6 ingredients and mix well.
Beat egg whites (at room temperature) until stiff peaks form.
Fold into sweet potato mixture.
Pour into pastry shell and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until set.
