Beer-Batter Fried Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. beer
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 lb. fish fillets
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix together flour, beer, egg, Tabasco sauce, oil and 1 teaspoon salt.
    Let stand at least 20 minutes.
    Heat oil in deep-fat fryer to 375\u00b0.
    Stir batter to remix.
    Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper, dip in batter and fry, turning once, until golden brown.
    Drain fish on paper towels.
