Apple Dapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. pecans or walnuts
    3 c. baking apples, peeled and cubed
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Combine oil, white sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour, salt and soda.
    Fold in nuts and apples.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    While the cake is baking, combine brown sugar, milk and margarine.
    Cook in saucepan on medium for about 3 minutes.
    When cake is done and still hot, pour the mixture over it.
    Leave in pan for 2 hours.
