Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine
3 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. buttermilk
4 1/2 c. flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Cream together sugar and margarine.
Add beaten eggs to mixture, then add buttermilk and vanilla.
In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, soda and nutmeg.
Add creamed mixture to flour mixture, stirring into flour mixture gradually. Chill.
Roll out on lightly floured board.
Cut and then bake at 350\u00b0 for about 8 to 10 minutes.
