Monkey Bread - cooking recipe

2/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tubes buttermilk biscuits
1/2 c. butter or margarine (1 stick)
Preparation

Mix together 1/3 cup sugar and 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl. Quarter the biscuits and roll the pieces in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Put the sugared pieces in a cake pan, sprayed with cooking spray. Melt 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1/3 cup sugar, 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon and remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over medium heat; bring to a boil. Pour over the biscuit mixture in the cake pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Turn the pan upside-down to place the biscuits onto waxed paper to cool.
