Apple Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped apples (about 6 or 8)
    2 c. sugar, mixed with apples (let set)
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. chopped black walnuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, soda, cinnamon and salt.
    Add apples to flour mixture and beat together vanilla, eggs and oil.
    Add to apples and flour mixture.
    Add chopped walnuts.
    Bake in a greased and floured pan about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Cool 10 to 15 minutes.
    Turn out on cake plate.
    Cool completely.
    May drizzle with glaze.
