Ruby Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 oz. pkg. red raspberry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 can mandarin oranges
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
20 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped or 8 oz. topping
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Drain oranges, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
Stir juice (from oranges), cranberry sauce and orange juice into gelatin.
Chill until partially set.
Coarsely chop oranges.
Drain pineapple, reserving 1/3 cup juice.
Fold oranges, pineapple and nuts into gelatin.
Pour into Pyrex dish. Chill until completely set.
In pan, combine sugar, flour, pineapple juice and eggs.
Cook until thick.
Cool and add Cool Whip and spread over top.
Cover with nuts.
