Applesauce Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten lightly
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. raisins
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. applesauce

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add nuts and raisins.
Mix to this the rest of ingredients.
Beat thoroughly.
Pour in tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
