Curried Pineapple Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth, undiluted
    1 c. uncooked regular rice
    3/4 tsp. curry powder
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (8 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Stir in rice, curry powder and garlic powder.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
    Add pineapple to rice; cook an additional 5 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
    Yield: 8 servings (about 103 calories per serving).
