Peanut Butter Crunchies - cooking recipe

1/2 c. brownsugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. crushed cornflakes
Preparation

Beat brown and white sugar, egg, peanut butter, shortening and butter until creamy. Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork crisscross fashion. Bake at 250 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
