Alpine Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger meat
    1 small onion
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3 small cans green chilies
    3/4 c. canned milk
    garlic (optional)
    1 doz. corn tortillas
Preparation
    Brown hamburger meat; drain.
    Add chopped onion and garlic. Cook lightly until onion is clear.
    Add soup, milk, green chilies and strips of cheese.
    Heat on low until cheese melts (easily scorches).
