Pineapple Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. hot water
juice of 1 lemon
1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Preparation

Blend all ingredients well and cook over low heat in top of a double boiler until thickened.
Cool, then spread between 2 or 3 (8 or 9-inch) layers.
