French Bread Pizza - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. extra sharp cheese, shredded
    1 small can chopped ripe olives
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1/2 to 1 c. salad oil
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    salt to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    oregano to taste
    1 loaf French bread, long loaf
Preparation
    Combine cheese, olives, onion, salad oil and tomato sauce. Season to taste with salt, garlic powder and oregano.
    Slice French bread 1/4 to 3/8-inch thick.
    Toast lightly on both sides. Spread on cheese mixture, broil until bubbly and flecked with brown.
    Serve piping hot.
