Helen'S Snickerdoodles Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix margarine, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.
    Measure flour and sift.
    Stir in.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
    These cookies puff up at first and then flatten out.
    Makes 6 dozen.
