Toffee Crackers - cooking recipe

24 graham crackers
2 sticks margarine, melted
1 c. light brown sugar
1 Tbsp. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Lay the graham crackers in a 17 x 12-inch pan.
Melt the margarine in a 2-quart pan.
Add brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Pour this mixture over the graham crackers.
Bake for 10 minutes at 375\u00b0 (watch carefully as it scorches easily).
Let cool.
Cut carefully with a spatula.
