Cheesy Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 c. margarine, melted
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. oregano
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Combine dry ingredients; stir in 1 cup cheese.
Add milk, margarine and egg; mix well.
Pour into a greased 9-inch square pan.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
