Ingredients

1 c. persimmon, mashed
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
Preparation

Beat sugar and eggs together.
Add persimmon; beat again.
Add milk, then flour sifted with dry ingredients.
Grease double boiler.
Steam 2 hours without lifting the lid.
Serve with cream.
