Broccoli Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. minced onion (optional)
Preparation
    Cook broccoli as directed, omitting salt.
    Drain and place in baking dish.
    Gradually add milk, onion, mayonnaise and beaten egg to soup, stirring until well blended.
    Pour over broccoli. Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Combine bread crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle evenly over top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes until lightly browned.
    Serves 6.
