Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs and 1 yolk (optional)
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut
3/4 c. walnuts
Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients.
Add vanilla and eggs.
Add next 4 ingredients, then add remaining ingredients.
Make balls the size of walnuts.
Press flat.
Can also be made in a roll.
Wrap in waxed paper.
Place in refrigerator and slice later.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
