Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn oil or vegetable oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg white
    1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves (optional)
    1 1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large mixing bowl, stir together corn oil and sugar.
    Beat in egg white.
    Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves, gradually adding to first mixture.
    Beat in applesauce and fold in nuts.
    Spray a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan with Pam (or grease and flour pan) and pour in batter.
    Makes 1 loaf.
    Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes on cake rack.
    (Can also be cooked inside of a 1 pound coffee can.)
