Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    3 Tbsp. water
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking soda.
    In another bowl, beat shortening until creamy.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Continue beating until light.
    Stir in molasses and water.
    Add eggs and beat well. Add flour mixture and nuts to egg mixture.
    Mix well.
    Cover and chill 2 hours.
    Drop dough by tablespoonfuls on greased baking sheets.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
