Indian Curry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef or chicken
    4 tsp. curry
    2 tsp. garlic salt
    2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper
    pinch of salt
    2 to 3 bay leaves
    1 cinnamon stick
Preparation
    Brown 1/2 cup onion.
    Add spices and water.
    Add choice of meat; cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Add cubed potatoes. Serve with rice and top with chutney.
    May add 1 can tomatoes, chopped green onions, salt and pepper to taste.
