Grits Baked - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dry grits, cooked by pkg. directions (quick or regular grits may be used)
    1 stick butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/2 c. salsa or 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
    1/2 garlic clove, chopped
Preparation
    Cook grits in chicken broth. Melt butter in hot grits; add eggs, cheese, salsa (or Ro-Tel tomatoes), onions and garlic. Add grits cooked in chicken broth and beat lightly. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 250\u00b0.
