Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
1 egg
2 Tbsp. sugar
pinch of salt
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Scald milk. Beat egg until well blended and pour over it very gradually the milk. Add sugar and nutmeg. Strain into custard cups. Set filled cups in a pan of hot water until firm. Test with knife; if it comes out clean, custard is done.
