Ingredients

1 1/4 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. green candied pineapple
1/4 lb. red candied cherries
1 c. chopped pecans (do not substitute other nuts)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten egg yolk.
Stir in sifted flour and salt.
Beat egg white and fold into mixture.
Add pecans and finely chopped fruit.
