Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. peeled, diced apples
1 c. crushed pecans (optional)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cooking sherry (optional)
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream together oil, sugar and eggs.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt.
Mix all together with a slotted spoon.
Stir in rest of ingredients.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Punch holes all over top of cake while hot and put Topping over.
