"Good" Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    2/3 c. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Add all dry ingredients; add eggs to milk and combine with dry ingredients.
    Blend in shortening last.
    Pour into a greased 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
