Noodle Dumps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    4 to 6 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Cut in shortening and mix until mealy.
    Add egg; mix well.
    Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until a soft ball of dough forms.
    Roll dough on floured board 1/8-inch thick and cut into 1-inch wide strips.
    Drop into boiling beef or chicken stock and cook 15 to 20 minutes.
    Yield: 6 servings.
    These will enhance any good homemade soup.
