English Muffin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
    2 pkg. Fleischmann's active dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    cornmeal (measure flour by spooning lightly into cup)
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups of flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda.
    Heat liquids until warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
    Add to dry ingredients; beat well.
    Stir in enough more flour to make a stiff batter.
    Spoon into 2 loaf pans that have been greased and sprinkled with corn meal.
    Cover; let stand in warm place for 1 hour.
    Sprinkle with cornmeal and bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Remove immediately from pans and cool.
    To serve, slice and toast. Yields 16 slices per loaf.
