Cabbage Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cabbage, finely shredded
    2 medium onions, sliced very thin
    2 green peppers, cut in thin strips
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Mix vegetables\ttogether in a bowl. Mix everything else in a saucepan and boil 1 minute.
    Pour hot liquid over vegetables. Toss as they cool; toss several more times.
    Make ahead and chill 24 hours.
    Keeps refrigerated for 2 weeks or more.
