Cranberry Fruit Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. raw cranberries, coarsely chopped
juice and grated rind of 1 orange
1/2 c. nuts
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Put orange juice and rind in measuring cup and add shortening and enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup.
Stir into dry ingredients and add cranberries and nuts.
Pour into greased loaf pans; let stand 20 minutes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
