Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sour cream
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped
    1 (1 5/8 oz.) pkg. vegetable soup mix (Knorr brand)
Preparation
    Thaw spinach; place on paper towels and press until barely moist.
    Combine spinach, mayo, sour cream, onion, water chestnuts and vegetable soup mix; stir well.
    Cover and chill several hours. Serve with crackers or raw vegetables.
