Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 egg
2 c. applesauce
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour
pinch (1 tsp.) salt
1/2 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream together shortening, brown sugar, cocoa and egg.
Add applesauce, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice and cloves.
Blend well.
Add flour, salt and raisins.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
