2 c. flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Cream the shortening, butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Stir together flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add oats, chips and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
