Excellent Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil or shortening
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    7 Tbsp. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix cinnamon, apples and 1/4 cup sugar together and set aside. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease Bundt or funnel pan well with shortening.
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together well.
    Add other ingredients; beat well.
    Alternate layers of batter and apples, starting and ending with the batter.
    Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 350\u00b0 in a greased and floured Bundt pan.
