Crock-Pot Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 c. (12 to 14) chopped and peeled apples
2 c. sweet cider
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation

Cook apples and cider slowly 12 to 14 hour or overnight.
Drain off some of the juice if apples are juicy.
Add sugar, cinnamon and cloves and cook 1 hour or until it gets as thick as you like it. Makes 8 cups.
Can freeze or keep in refrigerator.
